Student Care Welfare Queensland Inc. was formed on February 1st 2004, by Peter Morrow, and Charles Wheeler. While being a newly formed charity, our entire staff consisted of highly experienced professionals, who chose to add SCWQ to an extensive career in counselling, welfare or humanitarian work. Thankfully, we continue to benefit from the expertise of trained and experienced counsellors who assist with ongoing innovation in the fields of play therapy and child psychology. SCWQ absorbed the workload of a now closed local charity (QASA), while also carving its own unique niche offering further developed services with a fresh approach and an extremely high standard of care and compassion. |
